Why Is This Unique?
Native copper chrysocolla is an arrested growth of pure chrysocolla. As water dripped off of natural copper over millions of years, chrysocolla began forming. After a few more million years, all that copper would have dissolved and you would be left with only chrysocolla. Luckily, in this unique deposit from Indonesia, the ribbons of copper remained.
