Soon to be revealed, you’ll see a very fresh vibe behind everything Daria de Koning!

This past year has been a whirlwind of change. A big move to a new State (New Mexico), buying and renovating a home, opening a gallery; so I was inspired to completely revisit my brand colors. I know, right?! My signature red is, well… my signature, but I’ve enveloped it with hues of angel’s breath coral for lots of happy energy!

As I’ve grown and evolved as a jewelry artist, so have the jewels themselves. They remain confident and feminine, but I’m doubling down on their joyful spirit and I wanted to reflect that in all things Daria de Koning. Most importantly, in the spaces the jewels reside in.

Being in Santa Fe is a whole new world from my birth home of New York City and my past ten years in Los Angeles. It feels so much easier to navigate and yet expansive with huge vistas and grand, sweeping views – I am unstoppable here! Being up at 7400 feet means the air is crisp and clear, you can almost touch the ever-changing clouds, and the forests, flora and desert are all something to be discovered and observed – new colors, shapes and inspiration. 

The atmosphere here is upscale yet relaxed, the people are friendly and kind, while art, music, food and culture abound. There is never a dull moment if you want to fill your time, yet it’s like I can finally take a breath. 

And while the last year has been insane, it has also been exhilarating. To start anew, to breathe new energy into all my creative neurons – to make it all happen. So, there is no better time for a refreshed brand to reflect the refreshed me.

There will be newly designed everything… shipping boxes, bags, tissue and even ribbon for a glorious unboxing experience. And if you come visit me in Santa Fe, you’ll see the gallery space mirrors the playful energy, too. Joyful like the jewels! In my little corner of the world, it’s time to lighten up.
